Origami is the art of folding paper into different shapes. The name comes from the Japaneese words "oru kami" and translates directly into English as "to fold paper". Like many people, I was introduced to origami at a relatively young age. It was not until I was in high school that I started experimenting with it and making my own shapes. This snowballed when I was in college and a friend of mine challenged me to make an octopus, which I successfully did. From there on, origami has become one of my main hobbies and I have developed a large number of shapes. Some of my favourites are shown here, but if you want to see the complete collection, I have another web page dedicated to it, www.diagrami.com.
